Assistance inside a workspace people already keep their notes in. That is the whole argument for it, and it is also what complicates pricing it.
It is a plan, and the cheapest plan that carries it is not the cheapest plan
Notion AI has no price of its own. It is a set of capabilities gated by which Notion tier a workspace is on, so the question is not what the feature costs but which rung of the ladder stops treating it as a sample. The pricing page answers that in the plan cards rather than in a table, and the answer is further up than the obvious number suggests.
Notion's two cheapest plans, Free and Plus, both list the same bullet: "Trial of Notion AI". Business is the first card on that page whose contents change, and its own list names the agent and the meeting notes as things it adds rather than previews. So the figure at the top of this profile is Business, not the cheaper paid plan a price comparison would reach for first.
Why the obvious number is the wrong one to publish
Quoting the cheaper plan would have been defensible, easy, and flattering to the product. It is what a reader skimming the page would take away, and it would have placed Notion AI near the bottom of any table sorted on entry price. It is also wrong, because what that plan buys is a trial of the thing this profile is about.
An error in that direction is the one nobody goes looking for. It makes the tool cheaper, the comparison tidier and our own research look thorough, so nothing in the writing pushes back on it.
