The finding is that the page prints no figure at all
We read Writer's plans page on 24 August 2026 and it carries two options, a description of who each is for, and nothing a reader could put in a budget. The cheaper one invites you to try it and states the terms of that trial in a sentence: "14-day free trial. No credit card required." The other names its audience and offers a route rather than a rate: "Contact sales".
Neither card carries a currency figure, and neither does anything else on the page. That is a complete answer rather than a missing one. It tells you the evaluation starts with a trial or an email, that the annual cost depends on a negotiation, and that no comparison table on this site or anywhere else can honestly place Writer on a price axis beside a tool that publishes one.
What that means when you put it next to the others
The tools in this directory that print a figure can be sorted against each other in a minute, and that is most of what a comparison table is for. Writer is not on that axis, and pretending otherwise by inventing a starting figure or by quoting a third party's estimate would be worse than the empty slot at the top of this page.
The trial is the part you can act on today without talking to anybody, and the terms of it are the vendor's own words rather than our summary of them. Everything past that point is a conversation, which is the normal shape for software bought by a procurement team.
