Pika refills its credit grant every month, and it is the most restrictive of the refilling grants for judging output quality.
No entry price here, and the reason is the toggle
Pika's pricing page offers yearly, monthly and weekly, and it loads with yearly already selected at twenty percent off. The figure it shows against the cheapest paid plan is therefore the yearly rate expressed per month, and the month to month rate is not in the document we were served. This site publishes the monthly figure or none, which is where Zapier and HeyGen stand as well.
Reaching the page at all took a control worth mentioning. Pika's brand, press and about paths all redirect to a login screen and return byte for byte what a deliberately nonexistent URL on that host returns, so on that domain a 200 proves nothing on its own. The pricing page returns something different, which is how we know we read it.
The resolution cap is the catch
The free plan refills 80 credits every month, which puts Pika alongside Synthesia, Descript and HeyGen rather than apart from them: of the free tiers we could read, Runway's 125 credits are the only ones that do not refill. Veo's pricing page prints Not available in its free tier row. What separates Pika is not the refill, it is the 480p lock: free generations are capped there, so what you can evaluate without paying is timing, motion and prompt adherence, not output quality. If the thing you need to assess is whether the footage is usable in a finished piece, the free tier cannot answer that question and no amount of patience will make it.
